Support the VetMed PAC!

As we gear up for the 2022 elections, the WVMA urges members to support the VetMed PAC, our state political action committee.

Supporting candidates for state legislative office is part of the WVMA advocacy program. Many critical decisions affecting WVMA members’ businesses are made by the Wisconsin State Legislature.

For example, during the 2021-22 legislative session, the WVMA advocacy team has actively engaged in legislation affecting veterinary licensure, supported budget bill funding for positions to staff the Veterinary Examining Board, and assisted and supported the development of administrative rules to allow provision of veterinary care through telehealth technologies.

The VetMed PAC is used to make contributions to the state legislative campaigns of those candidates who recognize and understand the critical role that veterinary medicine plays in communities and in managing animal and human health issues. Contributions made to the VetMed PAC go to state candidates from both sides of the aisle that are selected by our statewide PAC committee made up of WVMA members. We strive to support candidates that are committed to and understand WVMA members’ issues.

All contributions are welcome! A contribution of $25 or $50 goes a long way when combined with other WVMA members’ contributions.

Please support the VetMed PAC in 2022. Contributions may be made:
