The Wisconsin Livestock Identification Consortium (WLIC) now offers same-day pick up and one-to-two-day expedited shipping options on select tags, offering increased flexibility from the current two-week minimum turnaround.

Qualifying orders are for two types of RFID (radio frequency identification) tags: Beef/Hog HDX RFID Button Tags and Sheep/Goat FDX RFID Button Tags. Both types allow for immediate transport and any other activity that requires official identification.

There is a convenience fee for same day pick up or expedited shipping orders, however WLIC’s individual members will still receive a 10 percent discount on all tag orders. Non-members placing their first order have the option to purchase a 12-month WLIC membership when buying tags to allow them to take advantage of the member discount.

The WLIC online store continues to offer multiple tag options, as well as readers and taggers. Made-to-order tags take approximately two to three weeks for delivery from the date the order is placed.

To place an order, go to wiid.org/store or contact Allison Hahn at ahahn@wiid.org.
