Experienced veterinarians interested in working at the state level are encouraged to apply for the Animal Disease Control Director position at the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP). The selected candidate will also serve as the Assistant State Veterinarian. Responsibilities include managing the Bureau of Animal Disease Control and providing overall veterinarian management to the Division of Animal Health as needed.
