Eligible veterinarians are encouraged to apply for the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) Veterinary Medicine Loan Repayment Program (VMLRP). In return for the repayment of a portion of their veterinary loans, recipients are required to provide veterinary service in a designated shortage area for three years. The application deadline is April 2.
