Clinical Workup of the Oncology Patient

This lecture will take a practical approach to staging veterinary cancer patients, including specific techniques and equipment. We will also discuss some common cancers that are treated with radiation therapy only or a combination of surgery and radiation, chemotherapy and radiation, or a combination of all three. The specific tumor types will be presented as case studies emphasizing the practical applications of treatment.

Dr. Karri Meleo has over 30 years of practical experience in veterinary oncology. She is board-certified in both medical and radiation oncology.
