Emergency Medicine Clinical Instructor – UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine
The UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Clinical Instructor to join our small animal emergency and critical care team. This position is ideal for veterinarians with a passion for emergency medicine and clinical teaching.
Qualified candidates must hold a DVM (or equivalent), have completed a rotating or emergency medicine internship, or have equivalent emergency medicine experience, and be eligible for Wisconsin veterinary licensure. There is no research requirement and board certification is not required.
Responsibilities include emergency case receiving, patient care, and clinical instruction and supervision of veterinary students and rotating interns.
This position is currently offered as a fixed-term (up to two year) appointment. As we continue to evaluate the evolving needs of our service and educational mission, we are hopeful that demonstrated value in supporting patient care and clinical teaching, together with funding availability, may allow for continuation. Employment in this role also includes an excellent benefits package offered by UW–Madison.
The application deadline for full consideration: June 22, 2026. Apply at: https://jobs.wisc.edu/jobs/emergency-medicine-clinical-instructor-madison-wisconsin-united-states
