Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) is a viral disease of cats caused by certain strains of the feline coronavirus. In this one-hour webinar, Dr. Erin Lashnits will provide a thorough review of FIP based on the most current insights, including diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring strategies. Erin Lashnits, MS, DVM, PhD, DACVIM (SAIM)
An internal medicine specialist at UW Veterinary Care (UWVC), Dr. Lashnits has hands-on experience treating cats with FIP. She can speak to the changes in FIP treatment over her nearly 15 years of clinical practice across multiple states, including at UWVC where she is currently overseeing a study using IV remdesivir in addition to at-home antivirals for treatment of critically ill cats with FIP.
