Nate Van Asselt, DVM, DACVR (Radiation Oncology)
Dr. Van Asselt is a clinical assistant professor in radiation oncology at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine (UW SVM), a position he’s held since 2020. Prior to that, he did a radiation oncology residency at the UW SVM. His current research focus is using motion tracking to treat tumors that move during treatment, such as primary lung tumors or metastatic pulmonary lesions. Before coming to the SVM, Dr. Van Asselt did a rotating small animal internship at VCA Aurora in Illinois. He is a graduate of St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada.
