Michele Gaspar, DVM, DABVP (Feline Practice) MA, LCPC
Dr. Gaspar is a board-certified feline specialist and a human psychotherapist in private practice. She is a 1994 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine and has worked in emergency/critical care, small animal and feline-exclusive practice. Michele currently is a consultant in the Feline Internal Medicine Folder of the Veterinary Information Network (VIN). She also is a member of the VIN Foundation's Vets4Vets program, through which she provides one-on-one help to colleagues and veterinary students with professional and personal challenges. Michele facilitates VIN's Mindfulness Meditation course and annual Mindfulness Meditation retreat. She is currently an advanced psychoanalytic candidate at the Chicago Center for Psychoanalysis. Michele and her husband, David, live in Chicago with four cats, a Shih Tzu and an engaging tank of freshwater fish.
