Unpacking Pet Nutrition: Guiding Clients Through Trends and Truths
Live Webinar: Monday, March 24, Noon - 1 pm
It’s a fact: All pets eat. Making sure they receive excellent nutrition in adequate amounts is key to helping them lead a long and healthy life. Yet educating pet owners can seem like a daunting task. Veterinary healthcare team members report they don’t always feel confident to engage in nutrition conversations or have concerns it takes too much time or may become controversial. The truth is every veterinary healthcare team member can be empowered to deliver nutrition recommendations for every pet at every visit.
After participating in this session, attendees will be able to:
- Utilize all members of their veterinary team to deliver nutrition recommendations
- Engage clients in healthy conversations and address current diet trends
- Implement nutritional tools in clinical practice
- Utilize core communication skills to enlist clients as partners in care
