Live webinar: Wednesday, September 2, Noon – 1 pm

From springtime lilies to summer algal blooms, fall mushrooms, and winter antifreeze, toxic exposures change with the seasons; and curious pets have a way of finding them. This session will review toxin identification, expected clinical signs and clinicopathologic abnormalities, diagnostic considerations, decontamination strategies, antidotal therapies, and supportive care. Emphasis will be placed on early recognition, stabilization, and evidence-based management of the poisoned patient, with practical takeaways that can be applied in both general and emergency practice.
