Kathryn Smith, DVM, PhD, DACVO
Dr. Smith received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Following two years in equine practice, she went on to complete a combined Ophthalmology Residency and PhD program at Oklahoma State University in 2016. Following her residency, Dr. Smith became an Assistant Professor of Veterinary Ophthalmology at her alma mater where she also became board-certified in Veterinary Ophthalmology. In July 2021, Dr. Smith joined the ophthalmology service at Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center in Waukesha, WI. She provides specialty services in ophthalmology at both the WVRC-Waukesha and WVRC-Racine/Kenosha locations
