Adrianna Sage, DVM, MS, DACVAA, cVMA

Dr. Adrianna Sage is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesia and Pain Management at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. She received her DVM in 2008 from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada, completed a small animal rotating internship at SouthPaws Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Center in Fairfax, VA, and worked in small animal general and emergency practice before pursuing a residency in veterinary anesthesia and pain management at the University of Illinois. Dr. Sage became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia in 2019 and has been a certified Veterinary Medical Acupuncturist since 2022. With over 17 years of veterinary experience in both general and specialty clinical practice, Dr. Sage brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. She specializes in innovative anesthesia techniques and effective pain management strategies for animals, focusing on improving the safety and efficacy of anesthesia in veterinary practice. Dr. Sage is dedicated to educating future veterinarians, sharing her expertise through lectures, hands-on training, and collaborative research projects, all aimed at enhancing the well-being of all animal species.
