Anna Martel, DVM, DACZM
Dr. Anna Martel is a board-certified specialist through the College of Zoological Medicine. She holds a DVM degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She completed an internship in avian and exotics medicine at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston, TX in 2016. From there, she completed a residency in zoological companion animal medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Martel has worked in academia, general exotics practice, emergency exotics practice, and zoo medicine. Her veterinary interests include avian medicine, access to care for exotic companion animals, and small mammal dentistry.
