Veterinarians working with Wisconsin’s farm-raised cervid producers are integral and a critical resource for the health of our state’s agriculture. In 2026, a new Interstate CWD Certification was introduced as a voluntary option for cervid producers looking to move out of state. Join Dr. Konkle, State Veterinarian, and Dr. Mathas, DATCP Program Manager, to learn more about the Interstate Certification, the expectations for herd vets, and how to best help your producers.
