Acute Abdominal Pain
Acute abdominal pain can signify both medical as well as surgically managed problems. Determining whether a case is surgical requires a thorough knowledge of the patient’s history and physical exam findings, as well as critical appraisal of diagnostic results. Patient stabilization will be discussed using a case-based approach.

Dr. Elke Rudloff is a 1991 graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. She worked as an emergency and critical care specialist, supervising/mentoring residents and interns, and is currently a Hospice Veterinarian with the BluePearl Pet Hospice Milwaukee market. She is certified in veterinary medical acupuncture.
