Website FAQs

The WVMA is in the process of updating the learning and membership portals accessed via our website. Our goal for this update is to provide features that members have been asking for, such as the auto-renewal of memberships, single-sign-on, instant access to CE certificates, and the ability for automatic monthly PAC donations. We are also enhancing our security and privacy features.

These changes will affect how you use the WVMA member benefits and website. You will find instructions for the most common activities below. Please note that you must first reset your password to access your account or learning activities in the new portal.

We appreciate your patience while wvma.org is under construction. If you have any questions, please get in touch with us by calling 608-257-3665 or by email at wvma@wvma.org.

How do I log in to my membership portal?

If you are an active WVMA Member, visit My Account (link also found in the footer). Your account information has been transferred into the new system. Please check that your information is current and update accordingly. You will need to set up a new password to access your account. See below.

How do I reset my password?

Go to the My Account page and click on the password reset link below the fields. Enter the email address associated with your membership. You will receive a reset prompt by email. If you need help identifying the correct email address to use, please contact us at wvma@wvma.org or give us a call at 608-257-3665.

Why complete my profile?

Once logged in, please complete, or update your profile so we know more about you. The more we know about you, the better we can tailor products and services, information, events, and member connections while advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. The data collected will help us understand how the WVMA reflects the society we serve, equip our staff with critical data to better serve your needs, and track progress as an organization.

Can I set my membership to auto-renew annually?

Yes! One notable time-saving feature is the new auto-renew option. The WVMA utilizes a secure third-party service to store and encrypt your credit card information, ensuring that it remains protected and inaccessible to us. This feature enables you to save your card details for future use, including the automatic renewal of your WVMA membership. You will receive an email notification before future membership payments are automatically processed. Additionally, your securely stored card information can be used to purchase CE courses.

How do I view my CE credits and certificates?

Log in and visit My Learning Portal (link also found in the footer or the dropdown menu of CE & Events). Click on the title of the course you have finished. On the top right, you will see a green Download Certificate button. Click the button to generate a PDF file for print or download. Your certificate is only available after you have fully completed the course videos and have passed all associated quizzes.

What if I am an active member looking to take a course?

To sign up (or access an already purchased course), you must first reset your password. Go to the My Account page and click on the “Lost Your Password” link below the fields. Enter the email address associated with your membership. You will receive a reset prompt by email.

You will be required to provide your credit card to purchase courses online. Your payment is processed via a secure third-party service that encrypts your credit card information and ensures that it remains protected and inaccessible to us.

Once you are logged in, visit the Course Library (under CE & Events in the navigation menu). Discounted member pricing is noted in bold. Click on the title of the course you are interested in adding it to your Cart.

To access your purchased CE course, visit My Learning Portal.
