Continuing Veterinary Medical Education
The goals of this conference are to provide participants with the most up-to-date knowledge concerning useful veterinary anesthetic and analgesic options for the practitioner. Lectures will focus on the newest techniques to enhance your anesthetic and analgesic procedures.
Topics include the use of non-opioid analgesic techniques, clinically-useful pain assessment tools, and current recommendations for sedation and analgesia of the uncooperative patient and special species.
Recently available agents such as bupivacaine liposome solution (Nocita ®) and alfaxalone will be discussed. Participants will leave with a thorough understanding of how to ‘update’ their anesthetic and analgesic techniques to enhance patient care and client satisfaction.
