The goal of the Small Animal Practitioner CE Series is to provide up-to-date information on diagnosis and therapy. The diagnosis of an infectious disease is based on the presenting signs and clues in the physical examination, blood work and imaging that raise suspicion; and is confirmed with testing that identifies the organism or detects an antibody response. This seminar will emphasize the clinical manifestations, interpretation of diagnostic testing and therapy of infectious diseases.
