We Believe
More than a profession
At the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association, we believe that being a veterinarian is more than just a profession.
Advocacy
The WVMA is daily monitoring and involved with policy and advocacy issues that affect veterinary medicine and small business. An outside legislative council of registered lobbyists works on behalf of WVMA members to ensure the veterinary medical field is represented and their views are heard.
ROBUst CE
The WVMA understands the importance of continuing education (CE). That’s why all CE events are open to entire clinic teams. Our Online Learning platform is home to a variety of opportunities in live webinar and on-demand formats offering a mix of scientific, non-scientific and leadership CE credits.
Member Resources
WVMA membership gives you access to an extensive classified advertising network posted online and in our monthly WVMA Voice newsletter. In addition, you will receive exclusive member discounts at select businesses that have aligned with the WVMA.
News and Industry Updates
WVMA members have access to our monthly WVMA Voice newsletter and receive electronic communications about issues and events important to veterinary medicine. Members also receive email alerts of breaking industry news to keep them informed.
Professional Network
As a WVMA member you are part of a community. Members have the ability to network with other veterinarians and clinic staff, as well as veterinary medical students. WVMA members find support from one another and as a result, new friendships are formed.
Grassroots Driven
The WVMA is committee-based, so our members make the decisions and lead the association. There are countless opportunities to get involved and use your skills!
