Focus: GI Disease. Vomiting and diarrhea are common presenting

signs in small animal practice. This year we will travel down the GI tract from

the esophagus to the stomach to the intestinal tract. We will also cover the “accessory”

GI organs, the pancreas and liver. Our goal is to discuss the most commonly

seen esophageal, gastric, small intestinal and pancreatic diseases. We will also present

the latest information on treating vomiting and chronic liver disease and the role of

prebiotics and probiotics.
